Steppin' out

Article Abstract:

Las Vegas, NV, offers a broad variety of entertainment from opera to bronco riding. Destination management company head Alan Waxler noted that the competitive nature of the city has helped to breed better quality, more diverse entertainment. Full-length Broadway musicals are popping up along the famous 'Strip' area and hotels are developing long-running production shows featuring a variety of performers rather than just female chorus line dancers. A number of resorts even have large arenas to accommodate fans that follow entertainers such as pop singer Ricky Martin. Country-western entertainers are also popular in Las Vegas.

Border patrols

Article Abstract:

Adventure travel by US citizens has increased significantly since 1995 and has become one of the most popular forms of recreation in 2000. As a result, incentive firms providing adventure travel packages have been exploring Canadian mountain resorts for program fulfillment. The natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies coupled with the exchange rate of the US dollar has made it an attractive destination for incentive-based travel programs. Canadian mountain resorts also offer visitors a broad variety of outdoor recreational activities.
