Insiders disposed of 802,138 shares of stock at prices ranging from $26-$32 in May, 1997. Only recently, 11 executives are reported to have either sold or filed their intentions to sell 917,983 shares of stock at prices ranging from $39 to $47. The company officials include VP George Reyes, President-Sun Express Dorothy Terell, VP-Human Resources Kenneth Alvares, VP and CFO Michael Lehman and Chairman Scott McNealy.

However, this trend is expected to be reversed after the release of the R14 product. Company officials viewed the rate decline as an opportunity to buy stocks. Between August 28 to 29, VP Robert Carr acquired 12,000 shares while VP Dominic Gallello bought 1,800 more. The stocks were purchased at the $22 to $22.63 range.
