David G. Monette has designed many trumpets that are different from traditional ones and is one of the few custom trumpet makers in the US. Many changes have been made in the trumpet design to produce a perfect sound. Changes have been made in form, material, finishes and detailing. Also, there are oversized braces and supports. The weight of his trumpets are two to three times more than standard ones.
