Article Abstract:

The lessons learnt from attempts to implement the Business Response to Aids (BRTA), renamed as the Global Business Coalition that focuses on a proactive approach to HIV in the workplace, are discussed. It emphasizes on the need for support network by top management, middle management and a recurrent budget line in the company's account, seeking advice from workforce about HIV and to take due account of the sensitivity of this topic area.
