The Bacchetta lampholder of Cooper Industries Inc Halo Lighting won a gold award in the furniture category of the 1992 I.D. Annual Design Review. Designed for showroom and retail environment use, the Bacchetta lampholder was praised as a design that allows maximum adjustability with the minimum number of parts. The design was also praised for understates but straightforward elegance.

Squeeze lamps

The Squeeze lamps designed by Lisa Krohn and Christian Dufay for George Kovacs Lighting Inc won a gold award in the furniture category of the 1992 I.D. Annual Design Review. The squeeze lamps are made of mylar plastic drafting film and metal springs. The form and character of the suspended, wall-mounted and freestanding versions of the lamp are all based on the act of squeezing.
