Tweedie speaks out

Article Abstract:

The various arguments about the perception of critics regarding setting of accounting standards for the world by International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) is addressed by its chairman, Sir David Tweedie. He reveals that the IASB has plans to focus on an improvements project based on the recommendations of the International Organization of Securities Commissioners (IOSCO) for the old IASC's core standards.
