Toad has undergone a profits recovery and has benefited from contributions made by a number of acquisitions, including that of Sextons, a car audio specialist. The company was incorporated in 1993, and its first profit was achieved in 1998. Toad is expanding into mainland Europe through an agreement with Autoglass. The company is developing a vehicle tracking business, with the initial tracker products to be delivered in 2000. An e-commerce service will be launched using the company's web site.
