Trade flows as a channel for the transmission of business cycles

Article Abstract:

Continental Europe can also conduct trade flows in the global transmission of business cycles since it the biggest trade partner for all major world markets. Trades among European countries have also wide diversification product-wise and geographically, which can only be influenced by the substantial growth in other regions such as North America. The effect of international specialization, however, is low since the functional classification used does not suit the technological and commodity-specific characteristics.

The superiority of eliminating barriers to entrepreneurship over privatization activism of the state

Article Abstract:

Resistance to privatization is more pronounced in Poland than in other countries because of the country's collectivistic ideological roots. At the same time, the former Communist country is popularly described as a maverick in the transition to a capital market economy in the Eastern European region. The key to its development is the robust development of the generic private sector, which has been largely responsible for the growth of the private sector in the national economy.
