Tridex finds profits in partnerships

Article Abstract:

Tridex Corp. and subsidiaries Magnatec Inc., Cash Basis GB Ltd., Ithaca Peripherals Inc. and Ultimate Technology Corp. have entered into promotions and advertising partnerships with customers to enhance profits. The Westport, CT-based electronic components manufacturer reports that joint marketing has enhanced and marketing potential as well as teamwork among subsidiaries. Tridex, which posted an 18% rise in sales to $33.7 million during FY ending Apr. 1995, spends $250,000 yearly in marketing and promotions.

Electronic lead management technology plays an important role in enhancing the quality of information provided by exhibition attendees. In a convention conducted by the Ontario Library Association, Research Information Systems successfully utilized the Leader pen-based computer and the SmartBadge to acquire relevant data regarding sales prospects. These products were developed by Laser Registration.
