V-22 Osprey production increase not derailed by CV-22 delay

Article Abstract:

Bell Helicopter Textron and The Boeing Co.'s plans for full-rate production of the CV-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft will remain unaffected by the six-month delay in the aircraft's testing by the US Air force, particularly as a majority of the Ospreys will be MV-22s designed especially for the Marine Corps. President George W. Bush's budget plan for fiscal 2006 shows progressively increased funding of MV-22 Ospreys though this is dependent on several predicates.
