Article Abstract:

Some PR professionals are having second thoughts about the potential of the Internet which, only in 2000, was pitched as a tool that was going to change the face of entertainment and the broadcast news medium. Gourvitz Communication owner Paul Gourvitz believes that broadcast PR has no future on the Internet. Alan Weiss Productions Pres and CEO Alan Weiss believes that the Internet is going through the same problem that cable TV went through in its initial stages. The problem is that the Internet did not go as smoothly as people wanted it to.
