What in hell is XBRL?

Article Abstract:

The eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) is a language developed for the Internet and facilitated by the use of online tools to communicate, collaborate and build consensus globally. Investors, analysts and regulators will be assisted by computers that can read business reports directly, without the time, cost and associated risks of people having to interpret and re-key text-based reports.

Tribute to Sir Ernest Savage FCA

Article Abstract:

Sir Ernest Savage was a Fellow of the ICCA and became the president of ICAA during the period ranging from 1968 to 1970, he was also actively involved in the activities of the institute, was appointed as the Honorary Consul for Norway. He had received a knighthood in 1979 for his work in business and accounting.
