The qualities which marketers look for in an exhibit supplier are discussed. Caterpillar considers desirable those exhibit suppliers who have a design staff with vision, strength in design, innovative and have engineering and architectural expertise. Intel considers as important in choosing an exhibit supplier the quality of possessing the knowledge of cost-efficient methods of exhibiting and current exhibiting trends. Dow considers creativity and graphic design savvy as desirable qualities of exhibit suppliers.

Trade shows: helping to drive the bottom line

Trade shows can be very effective in helping a company sell its products but it necessitates a major commitment in terms of time and resources. As such, business organizations have to maximize the benefits to be had from trade shows. One of the best ways to accomplish this end is by attending TS2, the Exhibit Industry Conference and Exposition. TS2 can provide professionals with important marketing knowledge, such as the most effective exhibition techniques and how to display products in a dynamic manner.

Exhibit kicks off brand strategy

Article Abstract:

Groupe Schneider SA used the National Industrial Automation Show in Chicago, IL, to launch the new brand strategy for its Square D Co and Schneider Automation units. The mid-March 1997 trade show is part of National Manufacturing Week '97 which attracted over 60,000 people. Officials stress that they succeeded in drawing attendees to their booths by making their exhibits interactive.
