The trouble with options
Article Abstract:
The currently structured share options are acting against the interests of shareholders. The share options are however more often found to cause the management's objectives to diverge from those of the shareholders, since the executives do not suffer in the same way from a decline in the company like the regular shareholders, but happily join in any success.
