Workstations stuck in neutral

Article Abstract:

Treasury workstation vendors are experiencing intense competition as demand for the product increases due to the push to automate and integrate treasury processes. The industry's largest vendors, XRT, ICMS and ADS are providing the software needed for general purposes. However, companies with large and complex debt and foreign-exchange dealings require an extra and much complicated software. This gives the three giants and other budding firms the chance to develop the ultimate treasury workstation. Alterna Technologies is trying to join in the competition with its new global treasury management system that also incoporates internet technology.
