Article Abstract:

Despite the advantages of the Medicare drug law, it may possibly act as a factor in the removal of retiree health benefits. The decline in the comparative figures of 1988 and 2003 in retiree health benefits, as reported by the Kaiser Family Foundation and Health Research and Educational Trust, are presented. Kaiser and Hewitt Associates studied that 20% of the large organizations may possibly remove such benefits for employees in future.

No gender-blind bottom line: with women execs comes better performance

Article Abstract:

According to a recent study by the New York-based research group Catalyst, more women in the top ranks of the company actually leads to excellent financials and growth of the company. The group claims to have shown that in the largest U.S. companies, a link does exist between the percentage of women in senior management and financial performance, as measured by return on equity (ROE) and total return to shareholders.
