John Young, assistant secretary of the Navy handling procurement issues, has told the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) that the Navy requires $800 million more over the next five years if it has to procure a new-build CH-53X helicopter. Northrop Grumman gains $558.6 million for CVN 21

Article Abstract:

The Navy gave Northrop Grumman Corp. a $ 558.6-million contract change to continue work on the next-generation CVN 21 aircraft carrier.
