Career management for human resource professionals

Article Abstract:

The increase in demand for human resource (HR) practitioners is increased due to training needs in production, an increase in the aging work force, and advances in technology. This growth is expected to continue until the year 2000. HR practitioners are gaining recognition as vital consultants to corporate decision making in areas such as organizational design, management style, work structures, cultural change programs and strategic planning. They play an important role in achieving operational and strategic goals in business.
