Making diversity a reality within our profession

Article Abstract:

The Diversity Task Force was formed by the Board of Governors of the College Placement Council Inc (CPC) to recommend ways to make the association more diversified. Two CPC regional associations, the Midwest College Placement Assn (MCPA) and the SCPA, shared with the Task Force their experiences in integrating diversity in the management of their respective groups. Ways by which the MCPA and SCPA integrate diversity in the management of their respective associations are given. Strategies on how to start making organizations more responsive to diversity are also presented.
