Adsorption and dimerization of NO inside single-walled carbon nanotubes-an infrared spectroscopic study

Article Abstract:

The physical adsorption of NO on purified single-walled carbon nanotubes was investigated at low temperatures by means of transmission infrared spectroscopy. The IR spectra show that the NO that is absorbed inside nanotubes exists exclusively in its dimer form, with no infrared bands of the monomer visible at a sensitivity level of 5 mol % NO.

Adsorption of hydrogen isotopes on micro- and mesoporous adsorbents with orderly structure

Article Abstract:

The equilibrium and dynamic adsorption data of H2 and D2 on different micro- and mesoporous adsorbents with orderly structure including 3A, 4A, 5A, Y, and 10X zeolites are collected. Critical effect of the nanodimension of adsorbents on the adsorption behavior of hydrogen and its isotopes is demonstrated.

Modeling the effects of structure and dynamics of the nitroxide side chain on the ESR spectra of spin-labeled proteins

Article Abstract:

A comparatively simple methodology is presented that allows the introduction of realistic features of the spin probe dynamics into the simulation of ESR spectra of spin-labeled proteins. It gives recommendations for a proper account of such dynamics in more sophisticated approaches.
