Architecture of fiber network: From understanding to engineering of molecular gels

Article Abstract:

A new approach is developed for understanding the engineering of molecular gels, which is based on the nucleation-initiated network formation mechanism. The method of manipulation of growth modes is explored in order to design gel materials with tunable topological structures and the modified macroscopic properties.

Topology evolution and gelation mechanism of agarose gel

Article Abstract:

The kinetics as well as the evolution of the agarose gel topology is discussed, and the agarose gelation mechanism is identified. It is found that the gelation process can be clearly divided into three stages, namely, induction stage, gelation stage, and pseudoequilibrium stage.

Formation of ordered arrays of oriented polyaniline nanoparticle nanorods

Article Abstract:

The formation of ordered polyaniline (PANI) nanorods made up of nanoparticles is reported and the utility of self-assembly in generating such a novel material is shown. The oriented nanorods are in the range of 80-100 nm in diameter and 8-15 micrometer in length.
