CANADA/FRANCE: COATINGS BY BECKER, SICO
Article Abstract:
Sico Inc. of Canada has sold its North American coil coatings activities to the Swedish coatings producer Becker. The two companies are to set up joint venture in France to produce paints and varnishes to the railway transport sector. In December 1997 the Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer granted a certificate to this effect. The new company called Sico-Becker SAS is based in Montbrison.
