Charge transport in weakly coupled CoPt3 nanocrystal assemblies

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted, with high-resolution electron microscopy, to examine the charge transport through laterally contacted assemblies of weakly coupled 10.2-nm-diameter CoPt3 nanoparticles. The result reveals that the mean inter-nanocrystal seperation can be reduced in situ through the use of mild thermal annealing, without melting or sintering the nanocrystals.

Preparation and electrical properties of ultrafine Ga2O3 nanowires

Article Abstract:

Unifrom and well-crystallized beta-Ga2O3 nanowires are prepared by reacting metal Ga with water vapor based on the vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) mechanism and electron microscopy studies show that the nanowires have diameters ranging from 10 to 40 nm and lengths up to lens of micrometers. The as grown Ga2O3 nanowires have the properties of an n-type semiconductor.

Structure analysis of nanowires and nanobelts by transmission electron microscopy

Article Abstract:

The significance of the structural analysis of one-dimensional (1D) nanostructures such as nanowires and nanobelts is mentioned. The use of transmission electron microscopy for such analyses is also described.
