Counter effect in acid synthesis of mesoporous silica materials

Article Abstract:

Mesoporous silica materials with well-ordered hexagonal structure are synthesized under acidic conditions by using various acid sources. The counterion association constants are determined and the degree of counterion dissolution under synthetic conditions in solution is found.

Synergistic effect in an Au-Ag alloy nanocatalyst: CO oxidation

Article Abstract:

The study developed a highly efficient catalyst system for CO oxidation with Au-Ag alloy nanoparticles supported on the mesoporous aluminosilicte MCM41. The alloying of Au and Ag shows a strong synergistic effect in promoting the low-temperature oxidation of CO.

Synthesis of large pore disordered MSU-type mesoporous silicas through the assembly of C16 (EO) 10 surfactant and TMOS silica source: effect of the hydrothermal treatment and thermal stability of materials

Article Abstract:

The effect of the hydrothermal treatment on the textural properties pore diameter of materials is investigated. Decaoxythethylene cetyl ether [C16 (EO) 10] is employed as templating agent for large pore disordered MSu-type mesoporous silicas synthesis.
