Crystal structures of fully La3+ exchanged zeolite X: an intrazeolitic La2O3 continuum, hexagonal planar and trigonally monocapped trigonal prismatic coordination

Article Abstract:

Research is presented concerning the use of single-crystal X-ray crystallography to determine the structures of three single crystals of a sodium zeolite which were fully lanthanum ion exchanged over a period of 6 - 8 days.

Spatially ordered quantum dot array of indium nanoclusters in fully indium-exchanged zeolite X

Article Abstract:

A spatially ordered quantum dot array of cationic indium nanoclusters was synthesized in a single crystal of zeolite X. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy experiments confirmed the existence of both atomic and cationic indiums inside the single crystal.

Hydronium ions in zeolites. 1. Structures of partially and fully dehydrated Na,H30-X by X-ray and neutron diffraction

Article Abstract:

Powder neutron diffraction and single-crystal X-ray were used to study the crystal chemistry of hydronium ions and the structure and siting of H3O+ ions in zeolite X.
