Determination of the electron transfer mechanism through decomposition of the density matrix

Article Abstract:

A modified Feyman and Vernon's path integral formalism which allows independent consideration of coherent superexchange and incoherent hopping pathways of charge transfer processes is developed in order to determine the type of transport mechanism. It is stated that the method is valid and efficient in exploring the transport mechanism.

Electron transport and back reaction in nanocrystalline TiO2 films prepared by hydrothermal crystallization

Article Abstract:

Preparation of nanocrystalline low-temperature TiO2 films for dye-sensitized solar cells can be made by gas-phase hydrothermal treatment of TiO2 powder with titanium salts. Improved electron transport properties were seen in the TiO2 films which shows potential for further development of hydrothermal method.

Capacitance and field-driven electron transport in electrochemically self-assembled nanoporous ZnO/Dye hybrid films

Article Abstract:

Electrodeposited nanoporous ZnO/eosin Y hybrid films are investigated in view of their potential applications in dye-sensitized solar cells and supercapacitors. The results are supported by frequency-dependent capacitance measurements, which also show the material is suitable for supercapacitors.
