Dielectric relaxation behavior of cationic micellar solutions: 2

Article Abstract:

Dielectric relaxation behavior in the frequency range from 1 MHz to 20 GHz, for an aqueous micellar system of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide with the concentration from 2 to 1000 m mol kg(super -1) is investigated. The average number of Br(super -) ions bound into an ionic cloud covering a micelle is estimated to be less than unity and a small number of micelles possessed ionic clouds, which showed dielectric relaxation behavior.

Viscoelastic behavior of supramolecular polymeric systems consisting of N,N',N"-Tris(3,7-dimethyloctyl)benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamide and n-alkanes

Article Abstract:

Viscoelastic behavior of supramolecular polymeric systems, so-called organogels, consisting of N,N',N"-Tris(3,7-dimethyloctyl)benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamide and n-alkanes are investigated. The result suggest that columnar, flexible supramolecular polymeric structure is generated in DO3B/C(sub n) and densely entangles each other to show the pronounced visoelasticity as well as in the polymer systems.

Rapid molecular motion in long threadlike micelles

Article Abstract:

Dielectric relaxation analysis has been applied in studying rapid molecular motion in a long threadlike micelle formed in a cationic detergent solution. Results indicate that the fastest relaxation mode is caused by ionic pair rotation.
