Does magnetic treatment of water change its properties?

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to examine some of the properties and the functions of water treated under magnetic field. No change of properties of pure water distilled from ultrapure water in vacuum was observed by magnetic treatment while when the same magnetic treatment was carried out after distilled water was exposed to O(sub 2), water properties like vibration modes and electrolytic potential were changed.

Temperature-dependent magnetic field effect study on exciplex luminescence: Probing the Triton X-100 reverse micelle in cyclohexane

Article Abstract:

The microenvironment within the reverse micelle of the nonionic surfactant Triton X-100 (TX-100) in cyclohexane is analyzed by studying the magnetic field effect (MFE) on pyrene-dimethylaniline exciplex luminescence. Results reveal that the nature of exciplex fluorescence and its behavior in the presence of a magnetic field vary significantly with the water content of the medium.

Magnesium isotope effects in enzymatic phosphorylation

Article Abstract:

Magnetic isotope effect in the rate of phosphorylation has shown that the [Mg.sup.+] ion is a key mediator in phosphorylation. Magnetic field dependence of enzymatic phosphorylation has agreed with the ion-radical mechanism.
