Effects of an amphiphilic graft copolymer on an oil-continuous microemulsion. Viscosity, droplet size, and phase behavior

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning the impact of a graft copolymer on the phase boundary between the oil-continuous microemulsion and the two-phase area of the ternary phase diagram of AOT, water and cyclohexane are discussed. The graft copolymer is soluble in the microemulsion but not in pure water or in pure cyclohexane.

Effect of salt and surfactant concentration on the structure of polyacrylate gel/surfactant complexes

Article Abstract:

The structure of crosslinked polyacrylate gel/dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide complexes equilibrated in solutions of varying concentration of surfactant and sodium bromide (NaBr), which was characterized by using small-angle X-ray scattering is presented.
