Excitation dependence of steady-state photoluminescence in CdSe nanocrystal films

Article Abstract:

The excitonic and deep-level photoluminescence (PL) in CdSe nanocrystal (NC) films (wurtzite type) was studied under continuous-wave excitation as a function of excitation power, temperature, and time of photoaging. It was shown for the first time that the intensity-power dependencies could be identical for the excitonic and deep-level emissions in a wide temperature range (80-295K).

The influence of carboxyl groups on the photoluminescence of mercaptocarboxylic acid-stabilized CdTe nanoparticles

Article Abstract:

The CdTe nanoparticles is prepared in aqueous solution using different mercaptocarboxylic acids such as 3-mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) and thioglycolic acid (TGA) as stabilizing agents. The pH-dependent photoluminescence (PL) of MPA- and TGA-stabilized CdTe nanoparticles was systematically investigated before and after addition of poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) into the CdTe solutions.

Photoluminescence of CdSe nanoparticles in the presence of a hole acceptor: n-butylamine

Article Abstract:

Detailed study of the effects of n-butylamine on the CdSe NP near band-edge fluorescence as well as on the picosecond bleach recovery is presented. A comparison of the steady state and dynamic fluorescence of fresh and aged NP samples is described.
