Excited state dynamics in FMO antenna complexes from photosynthetic green sulfur bacteria: a kinetic model

Article Abstract:

The excited state dynamics of the Fenna-Matthews-Olson bacteriochlorophyll alpha-protein complexes of the green sulfur bacteria has been simulated at cryogenic temperature. Experiments indicate that at low temperature the dynamics can be described with exciton model.

Selective interaction between xanthophylls and chlorophylls in LHCII probed by femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy

Article Abstract:

In the study conducted, femtosecond transient absorption measurements on trimeric light harvesting complex II from spinach is shown. Light harvesting is a photosynthetic antenna protein that binds pigments in the photosystem of green plants and algae.

Electron-vibrational coupling in the Fenna-Matthews-Olson complex of prosthecochloris aestuarii determined by temperature-dependent absorption and fluorescence line-narrowing measurements

Article Abstract:

Fluorescence line-narrowing measurements at low temperature were performed on the Fenna-Matthews-Olson complex of Prosthecochloris aestuarii. Superimposed on the phonon wing, several vibronic bands could be observed.
