Sopra, which has FFr 53.764,500 in equity, and which is located at Velizy-Villlacoublay, is going to be absorbed by its parent company Novartis Agro, which has FFr 493.45mn in equity and which is located at Rueil-Malmaison. This will mean a FFr 443mn net contribution to Novartis Agro. Then Novartis Agro will contribute its agrochemicals productoin and sales branch, which has a net value of FFr 437, 422, 328, to Syngenta, which is located at Reuil-Malmaison. Syngenta has an equity of EUR 38,115. This operation will increase Syngenta's equity by EUR 44,456, 430.

FRANCE: AGREVO PRODETECH BECOMES PROVALIS

Article Abstract:

SBM, whose subsidiaries include Iris, active in packaging and logistics, Capistol, a distributor of agrichemicals, and CMPA, a subcontractor in fungicide and insecticide formulation and packaging, has signed a five-year contractual processing with AgrEvo France. The latter will manage a social plan at Provalis, the new name for SBM's new subsidiary in phytosanitary products, AgrEvo Prodetech. The social plan includes around 40 job cuts out of a staff of 200 in Marseille .
