Norsohaas, worth FFr 25mn in capital assets, is expected to bring net assets of FFr 126.7mn to its parent company, Rohm & Haas France. The latter, based in Paris with FFr 200mn in capital, is about to absorb its 100% subsidiary. Norsohaas is based at Verneuil-sur-Halatte, in the Oise departement .

FRANCE: RHODIA REORGANISES ITS ACID BRANCH

Article Abstract:

Following prefectoral authorisation, Rhodia Eco-Services is going to take the place of Rhodia Chimie in operating the sulphuric acid and sulphocarbonic acid at the Saint-Clair-du-Rhone plant. Also at this plant, Europhos is going to operate the mineral salt derivatives from phosphoric acid, in the place of Rhodia Chemie.

Elf Atochem is to invest FFr 50mn at its French plant of Saint-Menet to increase its output of amino-undecanoid acids derivated from castor oil. Elf Atochem will also invest FFr 70mn for environment protection equipment (reduced water pollution, filtration).
