Full and modulated chemical gating of individual carbon nanotubes by organic amine compounds

Article Abstract:

Adsorption of several types of alkylamine molecules on individual semiconducting and metallic single walled carbon nanotubes is investigated by electrical transport measurement. Adsorption of the amine compounds on partial lengths of semiconducting nanotubes causes modulated chemical gating and intermolecular wire junction that exhibits pronounced rectifying diode behavior.

Microscopic description of elementary growth processes and classification of structural defects in pentacene thin films

Article Abstract:

The microscopic study of film growth and defect creation using a quasi-static approach leads to a conceptually simple frame for the understanding of the details of film growth. The detail of film growth unravels the link between growth thermodynamics and electronic properties of organic small molecule films.

Influence of the substituted side group on the molecular structure and electronic properties of TTP and related implications on organic zeolites use

Article Abstract:

Tris(o-phenylenedioxy)cyclotriphosphazene (TPP) was used to investigate the structural features of organic zeolite and their potential applications. It is shown that the electron-donor (E-D) capacity can be enhanced without altering the tolerance of TPP-like host materials to the guest molecules.
