Low-temperature adsorption of N2, O2, and D2 on LiX, NaX, and NaLiX zeolites studies by FT-IR spectroscopy

Article Abstract:

The results of a study of interaction-induced vibrational spectra for nitrogen, oxygen and deuterium molecules adsorbed on X-form zeolites at 77K, using FT-IR spectroscopy, are presented.

FT-IR study of carbon monoxide adsorption of Li-exchanged zeolite X

Article Abstract:

Carbon monoxide adsorption of LiX-1.0 zeolite ([Li96.(Si96Al96O384)]-FAU, Si/Al = 1.0) was studied by means of FT-IR spectroscopy at a wide temperature range to investigate the nature and properties of adsorption sites. It is shown that the existence of two slightly different adsorption centers in LiX-1.0 zeolite at room and low temperatures.

2H-{1H} CPMAS NMR of guest-host species in zeolites: an experimental study

Article Abstract:

As-made all-silica zeolites were used to examine the feasibility of 2H-{1H} cross-polarization magic-angle spinning (CPMAS) NMR and its applicability in heteronuclear correlation spectroscopy (HECTOR) experiments. Results showed that 2H-{1H} CPMAS and 2H-{1H} HECTOR can be employed successfully to study the spatial ordering of the organic and inorganic charge centers in as-made zeolites. The effects on the NMR spectra by experimental and physical parameters, such as spin rate, 1H homonuclear dipole-dipole coupling, RF strengths and the magnitude of the quadruploe coupling constants, were also investigated.
