Material investigations and optical properties of Phthalocyanine nanoparticles

Article Abstract:

A detailed investigation of phthalocyanine nanoparticles, fabricated using the "microwave method", which is found to be suitable method for controlled fabrication of organic nanoparticles is discussed. The aim of the investigation is to influence the linear and nonlinear optical properties of the phthalocyanines by exploiting intermolecular interactions between single molecules.

Selective interaction in a polymer-single-wall carbon nanotube composite

Article Abstract:

An experiment was done on a selective interaction between a single-walled carbon nanotube and a conjugated polymer by using Raman spectroscopy. The result discusses the correlation between the chirality of the nanotubes and mapping of the polymer onto the lattice.

Material investigation and optical limiting properties of carbon nanotube and nanoparticle dispersions

Article Abstract:

Experiments were done where carbon nanostructures were dispersed in the polymer matrix. The mechanical implications of the optical limiting are studied by using angular dependent scattering measurements.
