Oxygen chemical diffusion coefficient in manganite thin films by isothermal electric resistivity measurements

Article Abstract:

The determination of oxygen diffusion coefficients for optimally doped manganite thin films of La0.85Na0.15MnO3 (LNMO) deposited by means of RF-magnetron sputtering onto SrTiO3 (100) and (110) is reported. The study of the oxygen diffusion is carried out by means of isothermal electric resistivity measurements. The values found for the oxygen diffusion coefficients are around 10(super -14)cm(super 2)s(super -1).

Photoinduced elimination of oxygen at Ag(110)-p(2x1)-O: The role of surface carbon species

Article Abstract:

Photoinduced elimination of oxygen at a Ag(110)-p(2x1)-O surface is studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Auger electron spectroscopy, low energy electron diffraction, photodesorption mass spectrometry, and temperature-programmed desorption. The study suggests that one may need to pay more attention to a possible role of carbon species at the silver surfaces in thermal reactions as well.

Catalytically active oxygen species in La(sub 1-x)Sr(sub x)CoO(3-delta) studied by XPS and XAFS spectroscopy

Article Abstract:

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) spectroscopy are used to characterize the oxygen species in perovskite-type La(sub 1-x)Sr(sub x)CoO(3-delta) with x=0 and 0.2. The XPS method used synchrotron radiation with variable excitation energies.
