Photoassisted charge behavior of hydrogen storage alloy-TiO2/Pt electrodes

Article Abstract:

The photoassisted charge behavior of hydrogen storage alloy modified with TiO2/Pt nanocomposites (HSA-TiO2/Pt electrode) was investigated. The mechanisms of photoassisted behavior of the HSA-TiO2/Pt electrode was explained through the results of cyclic voltammogran and impedance measurements of the HSA-TiO2/Pt electrode.

AB5-type hydrogen storage alloys as catalysts in hydrogen-diffusion electrodes for novel H2/hydride//perovskite/O2 alkaline fuel cells

Article Abstract:

The catalytic activity and durability of AB5-type hydrogen storage alloys used in hydrogen-diffusion electrodes for alkaline fuel cells are evaluated. The experiments demonstrate that the activity and stability for hydrogen oxidation is greatly improved if the particle size is decreased form 5-30 to 1-10 micrometer.

Scanning electrochemical microscopy: investigation of hydrogen oxidation at polycrystalline noble metal electrodes

Article Abstract:

The kinetics of hydrogen oxidation on platinum, iridium and rhodium substrates in acidic media was studied with the help of scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM). The results demonstrated that hydrogen oxidation on Pt and Ir occurs at a similar rate, but is much slower on Rh.
