Photoemission from azobenzene alkanethiol self-assembled monolayers

Article Abstract:

Photoelectron spectra were measured for films of self-assembled azobenzene-terminated alkanethiol monolayers on gold using synchroton radiation. As a result of the orientational order of the molecules within the films, it is possible to identify laser-induced optical switching of the molecules using combined laser and synchrotron pulses.

Photoelectron spectroscopy of thin films of extended copper porphyrazines

Article Abstract:

A systematic and detailed study of the electronic structure of a special group of copper porphyrazine molecules, typically deposited on a gold single crystal, had been performed. The focus was on the interactions between the central metal and the organic ligand of varied size.

Photoemmission from aqueous alkali-metal-iodide salt solutions using EUV synchrotron radiation

Article Abstract:

The electron binding energies are determined for the aqueous iodide and alkali ions in the range of 7-82 eV. The valence band photoemmission of aqueous alkali-metal halide solutions are studied for photon energies from 90 to 110 eV.
