Photoinduced electron transfer between mono-6-p-nitrobenzoyl-beta-cyclodextrin and adamantanamine-C(sub n)-porphyrins

Article Abstract:

A series of monotailed porphyrins are designed and synthesized, in which the porphyin moiety are connected to 1-adamantanamine via a flexible hydrocarbon chain. It was found that photoinduced electron transfer could occur between these porphyrin compounds and mono-6-p-nitrobenzoyl-beta-cyclodextrin in aqueous solution.

The transfer of an electron driven by laser in electronic molecular devices

Article Abstract:

Photon-assistant electron tunneling exhibits some unusual features that can be useful in molecular devices like switches and microcomputers or quantum computers. An applied electric field is shown to effectively change the relaxation of the protein modes from slow to fast and vice versa.

Clarification of the mechanism of interfacial electron-transfer reaction between ferrocene and hexacyanoferrate(III) by digital simulation of cyclic voltammograms

Article Abstract:

A new electrochemical system for characterizing electron transfer (ET) processes is discussed. The low possibility of the ET mechanism is deduced from theoretical estimation of the standard rate constant and transfer coefficient for the hypothetical heterogeneous ET.
