Fluorescence spectroscopic properties and single aggregate structures of pi-conjugated wire-type dendrimers

Article Abstract:

An experiment is conducted where seven varieties of wire-type dendrimers, which consist of different generation numbers of dendritic wedges and molecular weights, are examined in tetrahydrofuran solution, in the solid state, and in good/poor solvent mixture. It was observed that the progressive spectral change in the process of forming the aggregate, and simultaneously the aggregate formation was confirmed by observation of the fluorescence microscope image.

Chemical and optical mechanism of microparticle formation of poly(N-vinylcarbazole) in N,N-dimethylformamide by photon pressure of a focused near-infrared laser beam

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to analyze the laser-controlled association process of poly(n-vinylcarbazole) by photon pressure effect. N,N-dimethylformide and cyclohexanone were checked in absorption and fluorescence before usage by the Shimadzu UV-vis-NIR 3100 spectrometer and Hitachi F4500 spectrofluorimeter. Experimental results indicated that repeated irradiation led to a decrease in the formation time of particles.
