Quantitative determination of the surface concentration of phenazine adsorbed on silver colloidal particles and relationship with the SERS enhancement factor

Article Abstract:

An investigation into the SERS spectra of phenazine adsorbed on silver colloids is presented. Results show that the SERS enhancement shows factors up to 10(6).

Study of the adsorption of 1,2,3-triazole on silver and gold colloidal nanoparticles by means of surface enhanced Raman scattering

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted, by means of surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), to examine the adsorption of 1,2,3-triazole on silver and gold colloidal nanoparticles. The result shows that the molecular interaction of 1,2,3-triazole on silver takes place via the lone pairs of N1 and N3 atoms.

SERS and DFT study on 4-methylpyridine adsorbed on silver colloids and electrodes

Article Abstract:

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectra of 4-methylpyridine have been obtained in silver hydrosol and compared with those obtained in an electrochemical cell. The use of density functional theory calculations allows one to interpret the SERS data and collect information ion the structures of the complexes formed in the metal surface as well as on the Raman mechanism.
