Quantitative electron crystallographic determinations of higher fullerenes in the hexagonal close packed polymorph

Article Abstract:

Electron crystallographic analyses of deposited films are performed for the quantitative single crystal determination of the higher fullerenes having hexagonal closed packed polymorph crystal structures. Results indicate that the solid solutions similar to the fullerites and hexagonal closed packed (hcp) crystal form are promoted by the coexisting isomers.

Crystal structure of MCM-65: An alternative linkage of ferrierite layers

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to determine the crystal structure of calcoined MCM-65 by constrained model building suggested by a close comparison with as-synthesized MCM-47. Although the structure-directing agents have a significant influence on calcinations behavior it is found that MCm-47, MCMN-65, ZSM-52 and ZSM-55 form a family of closely similar materials.

Polymorph selection during the crystallization of softly repulsive spheres: the inverse power law potential

Article Abstract:

The crystallization from the melt of softly repulsive spheres interacting through an inverse power law (IPL) potential is demonstrated by using hybrid Monte Carlo molecular simulations. The results demonstrate that polymorph selection took place during the growth step since growth proceeded into the stable bcc phase.
