Quantitative fluorescence excitation spectra of synthetic eumelanin

Article Abstract:

Quantitative fluorescence excitation spectra for synthetic eumelanin, acquired for range of solution concentrations and emission wavelengths were reported. The probe beam attenuation and emission reabsorption significantly affect the spectra even in low-concentration eumelanin and these spectra revealed valuable information regarding the photophysics and photochemistry of eumelanin.

Accurate sizing of nanoparticles using confocal correlation spectroscopy

Article Abstract:

The confocal correlation spectroscopy (CCS) for the accurate sizing of nanoparticles is characterized, which is capable of measuring the sizes of both fluorescent and nonfluorescent particles. Proper use of CCS offers a useful way to accurately measure the sizes of nanoscale particles and macromolecular complexes.

Memory-switching phenomenon in acceptor-rich organic molecules: Impedance spectroscopic studies

Article Abstract:

A study of the memory-switching phenomena in terms of impedance spectroscopy in series xanthene-class fluorescein molecules is presented. It is concluded that conductance switching is associated with dielectric changes of the material.
