Rohm and Haas joins Korea's SKC in flat panel display venture

A joint venture in optical and functional films for flat panel displays is being formed by Korea-based SKC and Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials. Rohm and Haas is going invest around 140 million euros to own 51% of SKC's Display Technologies business. The scope and objectives of the joint venture, and the activities of the two companies involved, are also discussed.
