(super 1)H and (super 19)F NMR investigation on mixed hydrocarbon-fluorocarbon micelles

Article Abstract:

Different properties are displayed between aqueous solutions containing a mixture of two different surfactants and solutions containing only one surfactant. The NMR technique suggests details on the chemical environment of a single monomer and on the structural organization of the molecules within a michelle.

Investigation of the temporal evolution of translational dynamics of water molecules in hydrated calcium aluminate pastes

Article Abstract:

The translational dynamics of water molecules in the two main components of the Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) is investigated. The extracted three characteristic parameters showed striking differences between calcium silicate pastes and hydrated calcium aluminate pastes.
