Selectivity of the chemisorptions of vinylacetic acid on the Si (001) 2x1 surface

Article Abstract:

The adsorption of vinylacetic acid (VAA) on the Si (001) 2x1 surface was investigated using low-energy electron diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and synchrotron radiation photoemission spectroscopy. VAA may be chosen to demonstrate the chemical selectivity and reactivity of the functional groups with the Si dimers on the Si (001) 2x1 surface.

Acid-base characterization of aluminum oxide surfaces with XPS

Article Abstract:

The localized acid-base properties of different, aluminum oxide thin layer surfaces have been evaluated with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Five types of oxide layers were studied, which were produced by oxidizing aluminum in a vacuum, with an alkaline and acidic pretreatment, and in boiling water.

Theoretical study of the prohibited mechanism for ethylene/vinyl acetate co-polymers to the wax crystal growth

Article Abstract:

The studies of the prohibited mechanism for ethylene/vinyl acetate (EVA) additives on the paraffin deposition in oils are demonstrated. The studies shed light on industrial application of pour point depressants (PPD) and correlation of microstructure and the properties of polymer-involving system.
