Simulation of the loading parameter in organic nonlinear optical materials

Article Abstract:

It is reported that optical properties of organic chromophores, in the class of nonlinear optical molecules have improved dramatically. Equilibrium statistical mechanics, and Monte Carlo (MC) methods are used in a lattice-based model to investigate the way in which the molecular properties translate into the electro-optic (EO) response of the material.

Combined Raman and computational study of a novel series of macrocyclic pi-conjugated diacetylene-bridged alpha-linked oligothiophenes

Article Abstract:

A Raman study of a range of macrocyclic molecular elements comprising of different proportionate butylated terthienyl or quiuqethienyl segments linked with diacetylene bridges is presented. Comparison of the Raman aspects with those of different linear diacetylene-bridged oligothiophenes indicates the conjunction of various molecular conformations.

Computation and spectroelectrochemistry as complementary tools for the study of electrochemically induced charged defects in 4-[bis(4-methyphenyl)amino] phenyl oligothiophenes as model systems for hole-transporting materials

Article Abstract:

A radical cation and dication species in the trimer has been characterized. Studies indicate that electronic structure oligothiophene backbone can be modulated with rich electron terminal groups.
