Structural state and redox behavior of framework Co (II) in CoIST-2: a novel cobalt-substituted aluminophosphate with AEN topology

Article Abstract:

A highly crystalline cobalt-substituted aluminophosphate with an AEN topology, labeled CoIST-2, has been synthesized and characterized by powder XRD, TG/DSC, diffuse reflectance UV- vis spectroscopy, FTIR, EPR spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. Both water and methylamine were shown to play a complementary role as dual template and space-filling agents during the hydrothermal synthesis of this material.

Comparative bioelectrochemical study of core-shell nanoclusters films with ordinary layer-by-layer films containing heme proteins and CaCo3 nanoparticles

Article Abstract:

A study of electron exchange between enzymes in a biological system and establish a foundation for fabricating new kinds of biosensors and bioreactors without using mediators is presented. The result reveals the {[protein-m]/PPSS}n nanoclusters films possess more pores or channels than the simple {[protein/CaCO3}n films, which may be beneficial to counterion transport in the change-hopping mechanism.

Kinetics of nucleation, growth, and stabilization of Cobalt Oxide nanoclusters

Article Abstract:

The various contributions embedded in the kinetic information obtained during the synthesis of cobalt oxide nanoclusters are presented. The aggregation and stabilizations processes occur only after the reactive metallic fragments, that is, metallomers reaches the critical size and a distinct surface structure.
