Temperature effects on the electrochemical behavior of spinel LiMn2O4 in quaternary ammonium-based ionic liquid electrolyte

Article Abstract:

The temperature dependence of the physiochemical characteristics of a room-temperature ionic liquid consisting of trimethylhexylammonium (TMHA) cation and bis(trifluoromethane) sulfonylimide (TFSI) anion containing different concentrations of LiTFSI salt is examined. It is found that the anodic electrolyte oxidation results in the decrease of coulombic efficiency with increasing temperature.

Synthesis of large-pore micelle-templated silico-aluminas at different alumina contents

Article Abstract:

The EPR spectra of radical surfactant probes embedded in cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and trimethylbenzene (TMB) stable water emulsions are analyzed. The analysis showed that TMB worked as a swelling agent of the CTAB micelles, providing large-pore homogeneous and stable MTSA at TMB/CTAB = 13 for Si/Al from infinity to 10.

Conductivities, volumes, fluorescence, and aggregation behavior of ionic liquids [[C.sub.4]mim]B[F.sub.4] and [[C.sub.n]mim]Br (n=4,6,8,10,12) in aqueous solutions

Article Abstract:

A series of ionic liquids (ILs) with a fixed cationic backbone and anionic structure but varied length of the alkyl chain of cations,1-alkyl-3-methylimidazoliumbromide is presented. The aggregation behaviors of these ILs in aqueous solutions and their physico-chemical properties are investigated.
